Ian Kleckner, PhD, MPH, is an associate professor in the Department of Pain and Translational Symptom Science at the 汤头条 School of Nursing and director of the Cancer Control Mind & Body Lab. His research focuses on how exercise can help alleviate chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy — painful nerve symptoms experienced by cancer patients. He also explores how movement influences brain plasticity, balance, and quality of life, aiming to harness the brain’s ability to adapt and help retrain the body for improved function and well-being.
